Fluid coupling एक Hydrodynamic device होता है।इसे hydroulic coupling कहॉ जाता है।यह Rotational power को एक shaft से दूसरे shaft मे transmission fluid की मदद से transfer करता है।                  अब हम इसके main parts के विसय मे बात करते है।इसका तीन main parts होता है। (१) Housing or Shell - इसे Housing या shell भी कहा जाता है।इसमे एक oli tight seal लगा होता है जो shaft के तरफ होता है।जिससे oil leak नही होता है। Housing अपने अन्दर के parts को safe रखता है। (२) Impeller or pump - Housing के अन्दर impeller होता है जो input shaft से connect होता है।यह centrifugal pump की तरह काम करता है इस लिये इसे pump भी कहा जाता है। (३)  Turbine - यह output shaft के साथ connect होता है जिससे Rotational power ,transmit होता है।             अब हमलोग इसके working principle पर बात करते है।इसे हमलोग आसानी से दो Table fan की मदद से समझ सकते है।मान लिजिये एक Table fan है जो power source से connect है। और एक दूसरा table fan है...

Lobe compressor

Lobe compressor or Roots blower एक positive  displacement compressor होता है।ये fluid या Airको intake से अन्दर की तरफ खिचता है और उसे high velocity से outlet से discharge करता है। इसके intake मे एक filter लगा होता है।जहां से air filter होकर inlet silencer मे जाता है और वहा से ये lobes के अन्दर जाता है जहां lobes बहूत high rpm में घूमता रहता है जिससे air का  molecules को एक kinetic energy मिलता है और इनके molecules का velocity बढ जाता है         इसमे दो lobes होतै है जो external gear के द्वारा connect होते है और इस तरह से time किया जाता है कि lobes का आपस मे कोई contact नही होता है और ये minimum clearance मे एक दूसरे को cross करते है।             Air इनके अन्दर से होते हुए outlet port मे जाता है जहा से outlet  silencer से होते हुये जहा Require होता है वहां जाता है।         अब सवाल ऊठता है कि इसके pressure का Limitation क्यो होता है ?इसे समझने के लिये एक Example लेते है कि इसका Discharge line एक ...

What is steam?

Steam,water का vapour होता है।यह invisible होता है जब pure and dry हो।यह steam engine या steam turbine का working substance होता है जो perfect gas के नियम का पालन करता है।    मान लिजिये 1kg water है जिसका temp 0 degree centigrade है वह एक cylinder और piston के arrangment मे रखा हुआ है।piston और weight से एक खास pressure maintain किया हुआ है।अगर हम water को heat करेंगे तो यह steam मे convert होगा।कैसे convert होगा ?   (1). Water का volume थोडा सा बढेगा जैसे जैसे temp बढेगाऔर piston को उपर की तरफ उठायेगा।जैसा कि (B) मे दिखाया गया है।  (2) आगे heat करने पर water का temp,Boiling point पर पहुच जाता है।water का boiling point ,normal atmoshpheric pressure पर100°©होता है।Normal atmoshperic pressure 1.013 bar होता है।लेकिन boiling point,pressure बढने पर बढता है।जब boiling point पहुच जाता है तो temp constant हो जाता हैऔर water का evaporation शुरू होता है।और piston उपर की तरफ उठना शुरू होता हैसाथ ही साथ steam का specific volume भी बढना शुरू होता है।जैसा की fig (c)मे दिखाय...
